Morgan Stanley may sell part of commods unit: CNBC


    (Reuters) - Morgan Stanley is considering selling a stake in its commodities unit, CNBC reported on Wednesday.

    The investment bank has been exploring a partial sale since at least last year, the television network said, and has talked to parties including private equity firm Blackstone Group LP .

    CNBC cited regulatory reform pressures as the reason for the possible sale. A Morgan Stanley spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
