IBM, Cambridge University, Philips Medical Systems, Dell and Noted Services Luminaries Headline Technology Services Europe 2008 Conference



    The Technology Services Europe (TSE) 2008 conference board today
    announced IBM, Philips Medical Systems, Dell and noted industry
    consultant and author Laurie Young will deliver keynote presentations
    at the inaugural TSE 2008 conference "The Next Wave of Business
    Growth" to be held in Paris, 2-4 April.

    Keynotes feature leading technology companies achieving
    differentiation through services strategies and driving innovation in
    services.

    -- Delivering Services from the Customer´s Perspective - Greg
    Sebasky, Senior Vice President and CEO of Global Customer
    Services for Philips Medical Systems, will discuss the
    company´s service strategy and demonstrate how customer
    feedback initiatives advanced Philips beyond "break-fix" to a
    full suite of customer centric services.

    -- Competing Profitably with Service - Laurie Young, noted
    services consultant and former British Telecom executive, will
    preview findings from his new book, From Products to Services:
    Insights and experience from companies which have embraced the
    service economy, and will share how IBM, Fujitsu, BT, Ericsson
    and Nokia have addressed crucial issues in operations, sales,
    and marketing when adopting services-oriented business
    strategies.

    -- Developing a Service Innovation Capability - An industry and
    academic panel including IBM, the University of Cambridge and
    SRII, will discuss the criticality of investing in services
    research and development and how organizations can build
    successful collaborations to produce breakthrough services.

    J.B. Wood, President and CEO of leading technology services
    associations AFSMI, SRII, SSPA, and TPSA, will present current trends
    in services organisational design, innovation, and Value-Added
    Support(tm) strategies - the critical components that position
    services as the key corporate financial engine.

    The conference concluding keynote from John Miller, Director
    Global Infrastructure Consulting Services at Dell, will share Dell´s
