The CR Reporting Awards 2007 (CRRA07) are the first ever global
independent awards for corporate responsibility reporting. Winners
were announced at a prestigious gala evening and ceremony on March 3rd
in Berlin, Germany as part of Ethical Corporation´s CR Reporting
    Summit.

Launched September 2007 by CorporateRegister.com, the London based
CR resources website provider, the CRRA07 accepted entries from 300
companies. Voting was undertaken online by CorporateRegister.com users
    - collectively the most experienced panel of CR report readers.

"Our users have witnessed a decade of evolution in corporate
responsibility reporting - now established in the business mainstream.
The time was right to ask an informed audience to identify and reward
international best practice," said Paul Scott, MD,

The awards included 9 categories covering a range of themes, e.g.
´Best Carbon Disclosure´ and report types e.g. ´Best First Time
    Report,´ and of course ´Best Report.´

The programme culminated in a ceremony with over 120 leading
corporate responsibility professionals. The winners, announced and
presented by Richard Howitt MEP, include Vodafone (Best Report), BP,
Novo Nordisk, Bayer, BMW, Coca-Cola Enterprises, and Green Mountain
Coffee Roasters. Full list available on

"I am encouraged to see the high standard these first CRRA winners
have achieved in corporate responsibility reporting. I am also
impressed to see how many of these trophies have gone to European
companies. The challenge now is to stimulate many more companies to
follow the example set by these leaders. CorporateRegister.com are to
be commended for this initiative. " Richard Howitt MEP, European
    Parliament Rapporteur on CSR.
