Cisneros Group´s cl@se Educational Channel to Provide Educational Programming to Schools Throughout Costa Rica



    The Cisneros Group of Companies today announced that its
    educational channel cl@se has signed an agreement with the Ministry of
    Education of Costa Rica and Cable Tica to distribute its educational
    content at no cost throughout this Latin American nation.

    According to the terms of the agreement cl@se, Latin America´s
    premier educational entertainment channel will be available through
    Cable Tica. cl@se´s programming is targeted at children and
    adolescents from six to 18 years of age, as well as their teachers and
    parents, the three most important groups for students.

    "We are fully committed to improving the quality of life of the
    people of Latin America, and I am convinced that education is the key
    to achieving that goal," said Gustavo Cisneros, president of the
    Cisneros Group of Companies. "That is why it is a great pleasure for
    us to reach out to Costa Rican schools through this collaboration with
    the Ministry of Education and Cable Tica," Mr. Cisneros added.

    This agreement with the Ministry of Education of Costa Rica joins
    other collaborative efforts between the Cisneros Group of Companies
    and the Latin American nation including the programs Piensa En Arte
    (Think Art) and AME (Professional Development for Educators) sponsored
    by the Fundacion Cisneros.

    of education, and we are determined to strengthen them every day,"
