LeftHand Networks to Highlight Highly Available iSCSI SAN and Virtual SAN Appliance at VMworld Europe

LeftHand Networks(R), the leading provider of highly available
iSCSI SANs that optimize virtualized environments, today announced
that it will be featuring its highly available NSM 2120 iSCSI SAN and
its Virtual SAN Appliance (VSA) for VMware ESX server solutions at
VMworld Europe the week of February 25 in Cannes, France. LeftHand
will be featuring a demonstration of its highly available iSCSI SAN
solution, highlighting its ability to deliver effective disaster
recovery and data protection within a remote and branch office
    infrastructure.

LeftHand´s Virtual SAN Appliance (VSA) for VMware ESX server,
based on LeftHand´s SAN/iQ(R) clustered architecture, will be featured
on two ESX servers, demonstrating its ability to virtualize the ESX
server´s internal disks across multiple ESX servers, providing high
availability data protection without requiring external shared storage

In addition, Adam Carter, LeftHand´s Technical Product Manager,
will speak on SAN Appliances (VSA) to Provide DR for Remote Offices
with VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM).

SAN Appliances (VSA) to Provide DR for Remote Offices with VMware
Site Recovery Manager (SRM), presented by Adam Carter, Technical
    Product Manager

VMware Infrastructure 3 has many powerful capabilities such as
VMotion, SRM, HA, and DRS that require a SAN or shared storage. What´s
that you say? You can´t afford a SAN? No problem. Using LeftHand´s
Virtual SAN Appliance you can take all the internal storage in your
ESX servers and pool it together as a SAN. Then use that SAN as shared
storage to be accessed by those same ESX servers. Attend this session
to learn how to provide disaster recovery for remote and branch
offices with a virtual appliance so that you can cost effectively take
advantage of the VI3 capabilities you desire.

    About LeftHand Networks

LeftHand Networks pioneered IP-based storage area networks (SAN)
in 2001. SANs built using LeftHand´s SAN/iQ(R) software are uniquely
able to distribute and protect data across a cluster of
industry-standard storage servers. The company´s patented architecture
increases data availability, allows users to start small and grow the
SAN seamlessly, and simplifies management. The LeftHand SAN is ideal
for storage and server consolidation, multi-site SANs, and disaster
recovery. For more information, contact LeftHand at
