EnergySolutions Upgrades and Expands Software Installation at StatoilHydro

Energy Solutions International, Inc., a leading provider of
software solutions for oil and gas pipeline management, announced it
is implementing PipelineManager(R) on gas lines and upgrading the
software on liquids lines at StatoilHydro ASA of Norway. One of the
world´s largest gas suppliers, StatoilHydro will use PipelineManager
for comprehensive modeling, leak detection, product tracking, and
    simulation of its Norwegian pipelines.

"We´ve been successful using PipelineManager on our liquids lines
for several years, with a good track record on customer support from
EnergySolutions," said Sigve Arthun, Procurement Advisor,
StatoilHydro. "A combined heat and power (CHP) station under
construction will be fed by natural gas, requiring that we upgrade the
PipelineManager to also support gas lines. The decision to upgrade
PipelineManager enabled us to leverage our existing technology
investment and continue working with one supplier, making this a good
    purchase for us."

PipelineManager is used worldwide for hydraulic modeling,
inventory calculations, leak detection, product tracking, predictive
simulations, DRA and scraper tracking, instrument drift and survival
    time calculations.

"StatoilHydro can benefit from a lower cost of ownership by
deploying PipelineManager on both liquids and gas pipelines," said
Clive Seaton, EnergySolutions´ Director of Operations, EMEA/APAC. "As
a single solution, it is easier to implement and provides more
standard functionality. This is important for StatoilHydro, a
long-standing customer, as part of their long-term pipeline management
    strategy."
