Schwabe Pharmaceuticals Acquires MH Pharma, UK

Dr. Willmar Schwabe GmbH & Co. KG, Karlsruhe, Germany, today
announced the acquisition of MH Pharma (UK) Ltd., Marlow, UK. Schwabe
Pharmaceuticals, a family owned company founded in 1866, is known as
one of the world´s leading companies in the development, manufacturing
and marketing of phytomedicines. With the acquisition of the privately
held MH Pharma in UK, Schwabe will gain access to the UK market.
Schwabe has more than 20 subsidiaries and joint ventures in European
countries as well as in the US, Mexico and China. Worldwide sales
reached 500 mio EUR in 2007.
