Sopra Group Has Finalised the Acquisition of CIBF and G2i

    Sopra Group (Paris:SOP) has finalised the acquisition of CIBF -
    Compagnie d´Ingenierie Bancaire et Financiere. This acquisition
    reinforces the Group´s European positioning in the financial services
    sector. The Group has also finalised the acquisition of G2i.

    Sopra Group has acquired the entire share capital of CIBF and G2i.
    The transactions were carried out in cash. Both companies will be
    consolidated in the Group´s financial statements as of 1 January 2008.

    The complementary fit of Sopra Group and CIBF, thanks to their
    respective geographical positioning and their common core of expertise
    in "Means of Payment", particularly in the Single Euro Payments Area
    (SEPA), allows Sopra Group notably to develop its positions in Europe
    and reinforce its Evolan(TM) applicative solutions offers.

    The acquisition of G2i forms part of Sopra Group´s stated strategy
    of reinforcing the positioning of the Group in France and developing
    its positions with major clients. G2i offers consulting and services
    as well as testing in the aerospace sector, mainly for Airbus.

    The financial terms of these transactions have not been disclosed.

    About CIBF - Compagnie d´Ingenierie Bancaire et Financiere

    CIBF - Compagnie d´Ingenierie Bancaire et Financiere - is a
    highly-reputed software and solutions provider for banks and major
    groups (means of payment, management of financial flows, factoring of
    receivables and management of risks related to banking commitments).
    CIBF, which is based in the French city of Nantes, was created in
    1992. CIBF´s share capital was 89.2%-owned by its founders and
    10.8%-owned by its managers.

    About G2i

    A specialist in technical and IT engineering, G2i has developed
    its business in the aerospace vertical market, particularly with
    Airbus, where the company has acquired strong expertise in firmware
    system testing. G2i was owned by Gerard Hernandez. With locations in
    Toulouse and Paris, G2i will generate revenue in 2007 of around 4
    million euros.
