Hurricane Ophelia intensifying near southeast Bermuda: NHC


    (Reuters) - Hurricane Ophelia intensified by Thursday evening after becoming the fourth hurricane in the busy Atlantic season, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.

    At 8:00 p.m. EDT, Hurricane Ophelia was located about 770 miles south-southeast of Bermuda, packing maximum sustained winds of 80 miles per hour (130 km per hour).
