VoiceBox Technologies Announces Expanded European Language Support for Its Conversational Voice Search Platform(TM)

VoiceBox(R) Technologies Inc., the award-winning innovator of
conversational voice search applications, today announced it will
support expanded European languages in the first quarter of 2008. The
new language support -- for Dutch, British English, French, Italian,
German and Spanish (DEFIGS) -- adds to support for American English,
    Canadian French and Mexican Spanish.

Working with phonetic transcribers worldwide, the new DEFIGS
capabilities boast robust pronunciation data garnered from native
speakers. These extensive phonetic lexicons are a critical boon, and
necessary for completing some of the highly complex tasks that
VoiceBox is known for, including voice destination entry for
navigation, local search, and points of interests (POI) and
location-based address requests with city and street name support.

"We are ecstatic to offer VoiceBox´s powerful conversational
solutions to European markets with native language support," said
Brian Cassidy, managing director of VoiceBox in Europe, the Middle
East and Africa (EMEA). "And we are excited to explore all the
potential ways we can apply our world-class phonetic data."

VoiceBox will first apply the DEFIGS capabilities to the ripe
market of personal navigation devices (PNDs) in 2008, and will follow
with capabilities for automotive telematic systems.

VoiceBox Technologies´ conversational platform is based on
advanced patent-pending technology that can determine context and
intent from conversational speech and then dynamically accommodate a
request based on the user´s intent. Users are not required to memorize
exact preset commands and can simply ask for what they want, even in
noisy environments such as the automobile.
