Conversus Announces New Board Member



    Conversus Capital, L.P. (Euronext Amsterdam: CCAP) ("Conversus")
    announced that Dr. Per Johan Stromberg, has joined its Board of
    Directors effective December 20, 2007. Conversus also announced that
    Victor Holmes has resigned from the Board.

    Dr. Stromberg is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the Swedish
    Institute of Financial Research. He is also Associate Professor of
    Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics, and Adjunct Associate
    Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago Graduate School of
    Business. He received his Ph.D. in Financial Economics from Carnegie
    Mellon University and holds an MBA (Civilekonom) from the Stockholm
    School of Economics.

    finance, private equity investing, capital formation and venture

    Dr. Stromberg´s research has primarily focused on the two areas of
    bankruptcy and private equity finance. His work has been published in
    the Journal of Finance, American Economic Review, and Review of
    Economic Studies, and has been presented at numerous conferences and
    universities. His work on bankruptcy auctions was awarded with the
    2001 Brattle Prize for best corporate finance paper published in the
    Journal of Finance. He is a faculty research fellow of the National
    Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), a research affiliate of the Center
    for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and a research associate of the
    European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).
