Catalent Wins Award from P&G for Skincare Innovation

Catalent Pharma Solutions, one of the leading providers of
advanced dose form and packaging technologies as well as development,
manufacturing and packaging services for pharmaceutical, biotechnology
and consumer healthcare companies, was honored by The Procter & Gamble
Company (NYSE:PG) for its innovative DelPouch(R) unit-dose delivery
system. The advanced design, recognized for its consumer-friendly
application, was awarded the "Special Recognition for Skincare
Innovation 2006-2007" from P&G´s External Business Development group.

The DelPouch(R) unit-dose delivery system provides consumers with
an easy to use, precise and sanitary means of applying lotions, creams
and ointments. Instead of having to squeeze a tube onto hands or
fingers, or to extract the contents of bottles, pouches or jars by
hand, the DelPouch(R)system allows consumers to dispense and apply
products in a single, sanitary step. Consumers simply squeeze a pouch
attached to a foam pad that releases the contents directly onto the
treatment area. Each pouch has a carefully measured amount of the
required product, making the product easier to use, more precise and
    safer for the average consumer.

"At P&G, the consumer is boss," said Brad Trucksis, External
Business Development, P&G. "Working with Catalent, P&G was able to
rapidly deliver this product to market to help meet a consumer need -
a way to apply Olay(R) Regenerist facial lotion without getting it on
the hands. We look forward to working with Catalent in the future on
other ways to help improve consumers´ lives."

Catalent´s patented-protected system is ideal for most topical
products. Since only the foam pad comes in direct contact with the
skin, it can prevent potential bacteria from a finger from ever
    touching the affected area.

"Catalent is proud to work with our partners to develop new
designs and innovations that make their products easier to use while
enhancing safety," said Tracy Tsuetaki, Group President, Packaging
Services, Catalent. "Partnering with P&G has been extremely rewarding
for Catalent, and we look forward to continuing our partnership well
    into the future."
