The Wercs® is Chosen by the United Kingdom´s National ChemicalEmergency Centre as Its MSDS Authoring Software Platform



    The Wercs, Ltd., the global software leader in providing software tools and services for the authoring, managing and distribution of material safety data sheet (MSDS) and other hazard communication documents announced today that The National Chemical Emergency Centre (NCEC) has selected The WERCS® as its software platform to author REACH and GHS compliant MSDSs.

    The NCEC is part of a global sustainability consultancy group called AEA. Since 1973, it is has provided the United Kingdom with chemical safety and regulatory services through its 24-hour chemical emergency response center. Over the years, the NCEC has helped hundreds of companies classify products, assess environmental impact and author compliant safety data sheets. As critical REACH and GHS deadlines approach, NCEC will now be powered by The WERCS to streamline this process and advance global legislative compliance.

    For more than 25 years, The WERCS suite of software tools have been the hazard communication and materials compliance foundation for hundreds of global chemical, petroleum, consumer goods, life sciences and retail organizations. Recent modules to the software include GHS Wizard and REACH 123, both developed to provide manufactures an intuitive and efficient way to meet GHS and REACH requirements.
