Brent up more than $3 on Fed pledge of low interest rates



    SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Brent crude rose more than $3 on Wednesday after the U.S. Federal Reserve promised to extend near-zero interest rates for two more years.

    Brent (brent.167)crude for September rose as much as $105.67 a barrel and traded at $105.44 by 0213 GMT (10:13 p.m. EDT), while U.S. oil rose as high as $82.43 and traded at $82.09.
