WorldTV Launches to the World

Next-gen online video service WorldTV announces its international
launch today (http://www.worldtv.com), empowering users to create,
manage, and operate their own personalized television station on the
Web for free. With WorldTV, anyone can easily create their own
full-screen, high-def-capable, branded video channels and populate
them with video clips from the Internet´s top user-generated and
video-sharing sites from around the globe. The company today announced
it will be expanding the site capabilities to include French, Spanish,
Portuguese, and Russian, in the first of a series of languages to be
added in the coming months. Additionally, WorldTV announced the debut
of their World Page, featuring a world map where users can access the
    top-viewed channels from each country.

"With literally millions of videos available on the Web from
around the world, people need a way to streamline what´s relevant to
them and virally share their favorites with friends and family," said
Alx Klive, CEO and founder. "We are pleased to be able to offer a
multicultural user base with the best-of-breed tools to create,
manage, and operate a professional-quality online television channel,
and a new way to discover cool and unique content."

WorldTV turns users into professional television programmers,
providing them with easy-to-use media tools to instantly package their
favorite clips into a personalized and branded video channel. The
simple and intuitive Flash-based interface enables anyone to program a
channel lineup by just dragging and dropping content from across their
favorite sites. They can either create themed channels on specific
subjects, or simply compile their favorite video clips and have them
all archived in one convenient secure location. WorldTV will be open
to the first 10,000 "programmers" to sign up. Additional users will be
    added at regularly planned intervals.

Programmers can then create a branded logo for their channel and
immediately send a personalized URL to share their programming with
friends. They can annotate their content by uploading video through
their webcam. Additionally, programmers can embed a WorldTV viewer on
their blog or social networking page for expanded distribution of
their channel. WorldTV content is immediately accessible to their
    friends´ networks in a full-screen viewing experience.

Eventually WorldTV will provide potential revenue opportunities
for programmers, allowing them to integrate advertising clips in their
    channels.

Also, WorldTV will offer prosumer-level features on a subscription
basis as well as an enterprise model for production companies,
creative agencies, and broadcasters. With WorldTV, companies can air
short-form video broadcasts via the Internet and create high quality
showreels using the company´s multiple professional applications.
