JetBird Appoints Carsten Dettmar as Head of Finance



    JetBird (´JetBird´ or the ´Company´), the first Pan-European, low
    cost air-taxi operator, today announced the appointment of Mr Carsten
    Dettmar as Head of Finance as of 1st February, 2008. Mr. Dettmar will
    join JetBird from Air Berlin, where he was Head of the Treasury
    Department. Air Berlin is a German low cost airline operating both
    long and short haul flights to an extensive range of European and
    international destinations.

    Carsten Dettmar, a German national, joined Air Berlin in 2001 as
    Head of Controlling and Aircraft Finance. He was responsible for
    financing activities within the group including establishing and
    deepening relationships with financial institutions. In April 2006,
    Carsten was appointed Head of the newly established Treasury
    Department within Air Berlin. In addition to his previous duties he
    assumed responsibility for risk and cash management. During his tenure
    at Air Berlin Carsten was also involved in the company´s 2006 IPO and
    their successful acquisition of the Dusseldorf-based charter airline,
    LTU.

    JetBird CEO, Stefan Vilner commented "We are delighted to announce

    industry will be of great benefit as we intend to establish one of our
    first aircraft base in Germany".

    Carsten Dettmar, incoming JetBird Head of Finance, added "I am
