Nasdaq briefly turns up


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Nasdaq briefly turned higher on Thursday with Electronic Arts helping to support technology shares. The Dow and S&P 500 trimmed losses.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was down 76.03 points, or 0.60 percent, at 12,647.55. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 6.10 points, or 0.45 percent, at 1,341.22. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 0.02 point at 2,828.25.
