Energy shares lead Wall Street decline



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks fell on Monday as energy stocks led a sell-off on falling crude prices and as investors were cautious ahead of the start of earnings season.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was down 19.83 points, or 0.16 percent, at 12,360.22. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 6.37 points, or 0.48 percent, at 1,321.80. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 16.96 points, or 0.61 percent, at 2,763.46.
