Numerex and Wavecom Join Forces to Deliver Revolutionary StarService in North America

Numerex Corp. (NASDAQ: NMRX) and Wavecom announced today that
Numerex will provide the revolutionary new Wavecom StarService for
    customers in North America.

The Wavecom StarService will be delivered over Numerex's wireless

    and implement remote diagnostics.

"Numerex is thrilled to be a part of this offering which will
undoubtedly bring tremendous value for current and new adopters of
machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless technology," said Mike Lang, Senior
Vice President for Numerex. "By combining Wavecom StarService with
Numerex networks and our industry-leading M2M solutions, we will
deliver a feature-rich platform on which our customers can design and
develop a new generation of M2M products and services."

"Numerex has been a long-time, trusted partner for Wavecom in
North America and we are pleased to continue our partnership with this
ground-breaking solution," said Stefan Lindvall, Group Vice President
and Head of Region Americas for Wavecom. "Their expertise in the area
of machine to machine communications is a natural complement to our
hardware, software and services offerings. Together we will change the
    face of the industry."

broad range of network services and technology to enable real-time
wireless data communications for security, vending, utilities,
automotive, healthcare and more. Their tailored, single-source

By integrating the Wavecom StarService with Numerex network
services, high-volume customers may qualify to receive the new Wavecom
Wireless Microprocessor(R) 50, free of charge when they purchase
    StarService, through Numerex.

The Wavecom Wireless Microprocessor(R) 50 is the new ARM9-based
