Picsel Technologies Appoints Former Amdocs CMO, Michael Matthews, as President and Chief Operating Officer
Picsel Technologies, a dynamic mobile platform provider whose
pioneering solutions bring content on mobile to life, today announced
that technology industry veteran Michael Matthews has been appointed
as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Matthews brings over twenty-five years of experience in leadership
roles across multiple disciplines including engineering, sales and
marketing. His addition to the executive ranks at Picsel is the latest
in a series of high profile additions to the company's management team
as it prepares itself for accelerated growth.

For the past five years Matthews has served as Chief Marketing
Officer for Amdocs, a global market leader in communications industry
software and services. During his tenure, Amdocs has transformed from
a company closely associated with complex billing solutions into a
market leader offering a uniquely comprehensive portfolio of customer
experience systems. During this period Amdocs grew revenues from
approximately $1.2B to approximately $3B.

Michael Matthews
Since February 2003, Matthews has worked at Amdocs Management
Limited as their Chief Marketing Officer. He has over twenty-five
years experience across a broad spectrum of technology disciplines -
he was an early investor, strategist and operating executive at Groove
Networks, now acquired by Microsoft, as well as an executive vice
president at Platinum Technology Inc., which has since been acquired
by Computer Associates International Inc. Formerly based in Australia,
Matthews held various sales and marketing positions at NCR
Corporation, Digital Equipment Corp. and Sterling Software Inc. He
holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Queensland
(Australia).
Imran Khand
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
A graduate in Computer Science from Paisley University, Imran has
already enjoyed a distinguished career. Prior to co-founding Picsel in
1998, Imran established two other highly successful technology
companies, among them one of Scotland's leading e-business solutions
providers. Before that, he led a Scottish Government initiative for
the development and training of young people and was actively involved
in a number of other government and community joint ventures. His
extensive experience of raising funds for the development of these
businesses has proved invaluable to Picsel.
