MQSoftware Appoints Rod Schmitt as Chief Operating Officer

MQSoftware, a leading provider of real-time business transaction
assurance and middleware monitoring, announced today the appointment
of Rodney M. Schmitt as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mr. Schmitt
will be responsible for extending the growth and profitability of
MQSoftware's suite of middleware management solutions, as well as
increasing operational efficiency.

Schmitt joins MQSoftware from Compuware Corp. where he held
various executive management positions and was responsible for
managing high-profile strategic accounts. In these positions, he
achieved exceptional revenue growth with his innovative business
development initiatives and delivered a number of major accounts. He
is experienced with operational management, and the leverage of core
competencies within a company.

Prior to Compuware, Rod worked in information technology with
Centura Software, where he held various positions, including Sales
Manager and Sales Representative.
