EA Showcases Top Titles at Leipzig Games Convention and Unveils FIFA 08 on the PLAYSTATION 3

Electronic Arts Inc., (NASDAQ:ERTS) brings a showcase of premier
titles this week to the Leipzig Games Convention. EA's line up
reflects the priorities of the company's four Labels -- EA SPORTS(TM),
EA Games, EA Casual Entertainment and The Sims(TM). The EA titles
demonstrate game play innovation in core franchises on the Xbox
360(TM) videogame and entertainment system and the PLAYSTATION(R)3
computer entertainment system along with new categories of accessible
games for more casual players on mobile phones, handheld devices and
the Wii(TM) from Nintendo.

"We have the most exciting line up in our history, with more than
ten new game properties launching this year along with consumers'
most-loved favorites," said Gerhard Florin, Executive Vice President
of International Publishing. "Europe represents a significant growth
market in the next cycle, and highly anticipated titles like FIFA 08,
Need for Speed Pro Street, Crysis and Medal of Honor Airborne, along

At a press briefing today, EA unveiled EA SPORTS' FIFA 08 for the
PLAYSTATION 3. The game delivers a football experience that matches
the authenticity, finesse and beauty of the real-world sport. The FIFA
08 next-gen gameplay engine, built to maximize the power of Xbox 360
and PLAYSTATION 3 consoles, delivers animations and ball control so
responsive players feel like they are on the pitch. FIFA 08 is the
first football experience on the PLAYSTATION 3 in Europe this year.

FIFA Street 3, in development at EA Canada for next generation
consoles, will be shown in select behind closed doors sessions.

The Leipzig Games Convention runs from August 22-26, 2007. The EA

Army of Two(TM)

Hot Chili Peppers, players can capture their best dance moves, record
their own voice and make music videos using the intuitive video music

America and it will ship August 24, 2007 in Europe.

Command & Conquer (TM)3: Kane's Wrath

Tiberium Wars(TM), this Real-time Strategy (RTS) game returns to the

EA Playground(TM)

FIFA 08

FIFA 08 for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 systems challenges
players to master the skills required to play like a pro football
player. Fans around the world can experience the same highs and lows
of real-world players and tackle the challenges they face on a daily
basis. FIFA 08 puts you on the pitch to defy the odds, perfect your
skills, elevate your game and rise up to win glory for your club.

FIFA 08 cover athlete Ronaldinho, one of the most talented and
recognizable athletes in the world, will become the first professional
football player to appear as a customized character in FIFA 08
exclusively for the Wii. The game's revolutionary FreeMotion(TM)
controls help level the playing field for all players and turns FIFA
08 on Wii into a physical, social activity. It also provides gamers
with a truly authentic football experience with more control than ever
before. It's easy to pick-up and play and with the in-game Football
Academy you can learn basic and advanced controls in more than 30

FIFA MANAGER 08

Which line-up is best for the next opponent? Should I upgrade the
stadium, or would it be better to invest in the team? Should I let the
scout check out a player for another week, or sign him immediately?
From the 2nd November 2007 on, football fans and amateur coaches will
be able to delve into these issues in more depth than ever before. The
computer game FIFA MANAGER 08 by EA SPORTS gives PC players the
opportunity to lead their favourite club to international success,
found their own club, or even become a national team manager. Players
can manage almost every aspect of a club, from player transfers,
stadium upgrading, dressing room chemistry and coaching, to the
line-up of the team.

FIFA MANAGER 08 contains the licensed, original coats of arms and
data of clubs from 20 different countries. Each player contained in
the game is individually rated using a scale of 43 skills. In all, 52
leagues with the original players are included in the game.

Hellgate: London(TM)

It's 2038 and London has been decimated by hordes of horrifying

extinction of mankind. Developed by Flagship Studios, the core team
behind the global blockbuster Diablo series, comes Hellgate: London,

and flanking opportunities. Medal of Honor Airborne is the newest
instalment in EA's critically acclaimed Medal of Honor(TM) franchise,

Developed at EA Los Angeles under the EA(TM) brand, Medal of Honor
Airborne will be available September 4, 2007 for the Xbox 360 system
and PC and in November for the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames(TM)

The Sims(TM) 2 Bon Voyage
