Next Safety's Respirator Outperforms 3M's N95 Respirator

The U.S Government, in pre-pandemic preparation, has stockpiled
over 100 million N95 respirators. However, a study conducted by the
CDC, in conjunction with NIOSH and OSHA, has determined that N95
respirators are ineffective in disasters and pandemic events. This
study, involving 538 participants in New Orleans, following Hurricane
Katrina, found that 76% of participants could not correctly fit the
mask. In a pandemic situation, these individuals would inhale deadly
    pathogens.

Next Safety will begin shipping the world's most advanced
respirator for pre-pandemic planning August, 2007. Unlike the N95
respirator, which is passive and highly fit dependent, Next Safety's
bPure 8500 series respirators for pandemic events, provides a constant
flow of extremely pure air. The constant, positive pressure flow,
prevents leak around during inhalation, inhibiting pathogens from
    entering the lungs.
