Wall Street trims losses


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks reversed course and trimmed losses, with the Dow briefly moving into positive territory on strength in Travelers Companies and 3M Co .

    The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 1.85 points, or 0.02 percent, to 10,810.19 after rising temporarily. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index shed 1.89 points, or 0.17 percent, to 1,140.27. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 6.39 points, or 0.27 percent, to 2,363.38.
