Wall Street ends higher after upbeat data


    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks rose on Thursday as better-than-expected jobs and trade data helped lift optimism about the economic recovery, although sentiment was fragile as investors fretted over European banks.

    According to the latest available figures, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 28.23 points, or 0.27 percent, at 10,415.24. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 5.33 points, or 0.49 percent, at 1,104.20. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 7.33 points, or 0.33 percent, at 2,236.20.
