BHP goes hostile with $38.6 billion Potash Corp bid


    MELBOURNE (Reuters) - Global miner BHP Billiton on Wednesday went hostile with its $38.6 billion offer for fertilizer group Potash Corp.

    It said the bid was fully financed with committed credit facilities.

    The offer is conditioned on winning acceptances on more than 50 percent of Potash Corp shares.
