Welch Allyn(R) Announces Technology Integration Agreement with Sensitron, Inc.

Welch Allyn, a leading manufacturer of frontline medical products
and solutions including vital signs monitors and spot check devices,
announced today that it had formed a new partnership with Sensitron
Inc., a leader in medical device connectivity and data management, and
its exclusive distributors in Europe, U.K. and the Middle East. This
agreement will provide a solution for ensuring that key vital signs
data are captured with Sensitron's careTrends(R) and automatically
sent to a dedicated server and an electronic medical record (EMR) when
available. This solution helps to reduce transcription errors as well
as time lag between the capture and posting of data.

This partnership will help clinicians meet their qualitative and
quantitative objectives--giving them the right information at the
right time. Together, Welch Allyn and Sensitron will provide nurses
and clinicians with technology that will help them deliver an enhanced
standard of clinical care, as well as both time and budget savings.
Welch Allyn's extensive range of traditional vital signs monitors and
spot checking devices can either be wirelessly enabled or hard-wired
    by Sensitron's careTrends(R).

"We believe that our partnership with Sensitron will provide the
best of both worlds, data capture and data management, offering
significant benefit to the patients, nurses and clinicians," said
Pascal Gand, product development director at Welch Allyn. "This is
particularly exciting in this vital signs domain, where very few
    connected solutions exist today."

"We are very pleased by this agreement," said Garry Stephen,
cofounder and CEO of Sensitron Europe. "It will provide users of Welch
Allyn vital signs monitors with immediate and reliable data for
quicker and better-informed medical decisions, while allowing medical
staff to dedicate more time to their patients."
