EFD(R) Introduces New Solvent & UV-cure Adhesive Coating Systems

EFD, Inc., a subsidiary of Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ: NDSN),
introduces the new Relius(TM) Tube Coating Systems -- a fast,
foolproof way to apply accurate, repeatable amounts of solvents or
UV-cure adhesives on tubing, fittings and other cylindrical
components.

The compact, pneumatically operated benchtop systems will provide
medical device makers and other manufacturers with a more
cost-effective, productive alternative to slow, messy and inconsistent
manual fluid application.

Instead of dipping components into open containers of solvent or
applying UV-cure adhesive by hand, the operator simply inserts the end
of the tubing or fitting into an applicator port on the side of the
Relius(TM) System. The interior and/or exterior diameter will be
coated with the correct amount of fluid every time, regardless of who
performs the operation. Each Relius(TM) System can be configured with
up to four applicator ports to handle multiple pieces or different
diameters of tubing.
