Soft Solutions Taps Seasoned Intel Executive to Join Its Global Leadership Team



    Company Expands Its Business Coverage to Capitalize on Market Momentum.

    Soft Solutions, the leading provider of web-based retail
    merchandise management and decision support software, today announces
    that Tamar Warren will join its North American team as Director, with
    expanded responsibilities to lead the company's marketing, sales,
    press relations and strategic worldwide alliances with its partners.

    Ms. Warren will work directly with the company's global leadership
    team to expand its market awareness and initiate new client
    engagements. Additionally, she will work to extend Soft Solutions'
    market coverage and manage relationships and programs to extend the
    company's worldwide strategic partners, alliances and industry
    analysts. Based in the San Francisco area, Ms. Warren will also build
    Soft Solutions' leadership team on the ground in the Western United
    States.

    Ms. Warren brings to the company over 16 years of marketing and
    management experience in both hardware and software at Intel
    Corporation. Most recently, in the Software and Solutions Group, she
    managed the team responsible for Intel's Independent Software Vendors
    (ISV) marketing and sales development efforts. Previously, Ms. Warren
    managed the worldwide developer engagement team supporting over 2500
    ISVs worldwide.

    Additionally, Ms. Warren led the brand development efforts of the
    Intel Inside(R) Program, and the Retail Co-op Advertising Program.
    Prior to joining Intel, Ms. Warren managed marketing and communication
    efforts at Claris Corporation and Borland International. Ms. Warren
    holds a BA from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications
    at San Jose State University.
