Momentive Performance Materials Inc. Reports First Quarter 2007 Results and Earnings Call Information


    Momentive Performance Materials Inc. ("Momentive" or "the
    Company") today reported its consolidated results for the fiscal
    three-month period ended April 1, 2007. Highlights include:

    -- Net sales of $608.2 million compared to $584.2 million in the
    fiscal three-month period ended April 2, 2006.

    -- Operating income of $1.3 million versus operating income of
    $46.1 million in the fiscal three-month period ended April 2,
    2006.

    -- Net loss of $64.1 million compared to net income of $13.4
    million in the fiscal three-month period ended April 2, 2006.

    -- Adjusted EBITDA of $103.4 million compared to Adjusted EBITDA
    of $98.9 million in the fiscal three-month period ended April
    2, 2006, resulting in an Adjusted EBITDA for the Last Twelve
    Month (LTM) period ending April 1, 2007 of $432.3.

    "The Company's improved adjusted EBITDA demonstrates that
    Momentive is making progress as a standalone company," said Wayne
    Hewett, President and CEO. "We are performing according to plan and we
    continue to expand our capabilities by industry sector and
    geographically to meet the growing needs of our customers," he added.
