Fieldglass Announces Significant Advancement in Globalization, InSite Available in Eight Languages

Fieldglass, Inc., a leading provider of contingent workforce
management and services procurement software, today announced a
significant milestone in its globalization efforts with official
support for approximately two dozen locales and eight languages.

    InSite(R), Fieldglass' award-winning, on-demand software solution,
has been localized for many locales around the world including
Belgium, Canada, China, France, Hong Kong, India, Mexico and the
United Kingdom. InSite also supports a number of languages including
Chinese, Dutch, English, French, French Canadian, German, Japanese and
    Spanish.

Forrester Research recently issued The Forrester Wave(TM):
eProcurement Solutions, Q2 2007 report recognizing that "Fieldglass
has a top score for globalization" and specifically stated that,
"Fieldglass has a top score for multilanguage instance."

"We are very happy to see Fieldglass take a leadership role in
localizing its technology platform for the European market and
beyond," said Peter Verkaaik, regional director category management,
indirect procurement Europe at Johnson & Johnson in Beerse, Belgium.
"The modern multinational is a complex enterprise with sophisticated
requirements for the sourcing of contingent labor and other services.
These requirements often vary considerably by country and region. We
selected Fieldglass for their commitment to supporting these
variations in language, regulation and business practices."

Fieldglass recognizes that it is imperative to understand each
locale as practices and laws can differ significantly. In order to
rapidly adapt InSite to these locales, Fieldglass has assembled a
dedicated globalization team and developed a formal comprehensive
globalization methodology. Working with local law firms, the team
first establishes an understanding of laws and regulations to ensure
that InSite is in compliance with the laws and regulations of each
locale. The team then meets with selected global partners and
customers to create a localization package capturing contractual,
configuration and process recommendations and requirements.

This methodology is unique in its market in that it goes well
beyond straightforward legal and regulatory compliance. The goal of
the Fieldglass globalization methodology is to make InSite truly
native to each locale by incorporating the nuances of local business
practices. This is important as a large global firm will have
operations in locales with requirements that often contradict each
other. For example, candidate anonymity is required in certain
European locales but not in others; particular candidate information
must be suppressed in some locales yet is required in others; overtime
rules are complex and highly variable across regions; all European
countries require a VAT tax as a separate line item, while Japan and
Hong Kong do not impose a tax on invoices.

Additionally, in this global talent market, a job position can be
billed at varying rates depending on location as well as the condition
of the local job market. InSite manages these complex rates, providing
the ability to associate rates with specific suppliers of labor,
locations and positions as required by the clients. Contractual rates
can be enforced dynamically throughout the organization regardless of
the number of regions, suppliers or even positions being managed.

Fieldglass has invested in a comprehensive approach to addressing
global labor procurement practices and will continue to grow its
InSite solution to support its ever-increasing global client base.
