Wall Street falls 2 percent in skittish trade



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks accelerated losses on Friday with indexes falling more than 2 percent the day after an intraday plunge and amid worries Greece's debt crisis could spread.

    The Nasdaq fared worse than the other indexes, falling more than 3 percent. Among the index's biggest losers, Apple was down close to 6 percent.

    The Dow Jones industrial average fell 216.67 points, or 2.06 percent, to 10,303.65. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 26.41 points, or 2.34 percent, to 1,101.74. The Nasdaq Composite Index gave up 74.79 points, or 3.22 percent, at 2,244.85.
