StreamBase Launches Partner Program in Response to Multi-Market Demand for Complex Event Processing

StreamBase Systems, the leader in high-performance Complex Event
Processing (CEP), today announced the official launch of its worldwide
Partner Program for technology partners, independent software vendors
(ISVs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), system integrators
(SIs), and value-added resellers (VARs). The program serves companies
interested in building and delivering solutions on StreamBase's CEP
platform. StreamBase already has established technology partnerships
with leading global technology companies including IBM (NYSE:IBM),
Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE: AMD), Red Hat Linux (NASDAQ: RHAT),
Reuters, Sun (NASDAQ: SUNW), and Sybase (NYSE: SY).

"CEP has become increasingly important to IBM's customers in a
number of markets," said Dr. Arvind Krishna, Vice President IBM Data
Servers. "IBM is working strategically with StreamBase to meet these
customer needs via solutions that integrate StreamBase's CEP engine
with IBM's industry-leading data management products."

Accelerated demand for real-time event processing and analysis in
diverse markets such as financial services, e-business, telecom, and
government is driving fast growth in StreamBase's sales, services, and
distribution channels. The StreamBase Partner Program delivers
StreamBase's high-performance CEP software along with technical
support, education, and marketing support to help drive partners'
success. The program offers an easy three-step sign up process to
allow partners to quickly and affordably establish a technology and
business partnership with StreamBase. The standard StreamBase Partner
Program, which can be renewed annually, enables partners to build and
deliver solutions based on StreamBase's CEP platform. Partners
enrolled in the standard program are eligible to enter into a separate
distribution arrangement with StreamBase allowing them to resell or
redistribute StreamBase software as part of their solution offerings.

"Our partners play a critical role in delivering and implementing
the most powerful CEP applications," said Barry Morris, Chairman and
CEO of StreamBase. "We've built into this new program all the tools,
resources, and support our partners need to capitalize on the fast
growth market for high-performance CEP. With our program, partners are
able to more quickly deliver high-value, standards-based solutions to
their customers which also are highly scalable and easily modified
when business needs change. These relationships are not only of
immense benefit to StreamBase and our clients, but also to the overall
growth of the high-performance CEP industry. We are proud to announce
that we have successfully signed up a number of key partners to this
new program, and we expect dozens of new partners to join the program
    during this year."
