El portavoz del ministerio, Alessandro Cortese, dijo a la AFP que Mastrogiacomo, de 52 años, había hablado por teléfono con el embajador de Italia en Kabul, Ettore Francesco Sequi, para confirmarle su liberación.

ROMA (AFX-España) - El periodista italiano de La Repubblica Daniele Mastrogiacomo, secuestrado durante dos semanas por los talibanes en Afganistán, fue liberado, anunció el lunes el ministerio italiano de Relaciones Exteriores.
