Local Matters Appoints Kate Bowler as Director Business Development
Local Matters, Inc., a provider of software and media services
that enable Yellow Pages publishers and 411 service providers to
expand their traditional service offerings, today announced the
appointment of Kate Bowler as Director Business Development. Ms.
Bowler is responsible for Business Development in Europe and Asia
Pacific, and will report to John Kemp EVP, Local Matters.
Kate Bowler has considerable experience in the local media
industry, having worked as a Publisher for APN News & Media and as
Director of Business Development for Sensis Pty Ltd, a leading
publisher of local content in the Australian and Asian market. Her
many roles in Sensis included corporate strategy with a focus on
search, content transformation and distribution via digital channels
together with the acquisition of digital assets. She has worked in
Europe for the past two years in the growth and eventual sale of
Platefood Ltd a joint venture between Sensis, FAST Search & Transfer
and Schibsted AS, which commercialized advanced technologies for local
search and advertising.
