Genpact Secures Multi-Year Contract with GlaxoSmithKline to Provide High-End Finance & Accounting Services



    Genpact, a leading global provider of business and technology
    services, today announced that it has signed a multi-year contract to
    provide select finance and accounting services for GlaxoSmithKline's
    UK corporate business operations. It is the third contract in two
    years to be signed between the pharmaceutical giant and Genpact. Terms
    of the contract were not disclosed.

    GlaxoSmithKline has been confident enough in our performance to
    partner with us in ways that will help them manage operational risk
    and achieve 'best-in-class' status in F&A processes," said Shantanu
    Ghosh, who heads Genpact's global F&A practice.

    Genpact will support UK-based high-end F&A processes ranging from
    corporate consolidation to statutory reporting. The transition of
    these services will begin in March.

    Genpact's Finance & Accounting practice is the company's largest.
    Of its 27,200 employees, some 6,250 professionals deliver a wide range
    of F&A services, from transactional accounts payable services to
    closing and reporting services and financial planning & analysis.

    Genpact serves its clients around the clock from 24 operations
