Consumers end 4 weeks of gains on Wall St



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks fell broadly on Friday, with major indexes snapping a streak of four weeks of gains as poor consumer sentiment data fueled concerns about an economic recovery.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was down 76.79 points, or 0.82 percent, at 9,321.40, according to the latest available figures. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 8.63 points, or 0.85 percent, at 1,004.10. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 23.83 points, or 1.19 percent, at 1,985.52.
