Passlogix Sells 6 Millionth License for v-Go Sign-On Platform; Customer Base Triples in One Year

Passlogix(R), Inc., announced today that license sales for its
    market-leading v-GO(R) Sign-On Platform(TM) have now exceeded 6
million, more than doubling the company's customer base since it hit
the 2 million mark one year ago. This broad adoption represents the
retirement of at least 120 million conventional application passwords
--an average of 10 passwords per user that change at least twice a
year -- in hundreds of companies around the globe.

The surge in license volume reflects the rapid implementation
capabilities, scalability, low total cost of ownership and broad
functionality of the v-GO suite, including the platform's ability to
integrate enterprise single sign-on (ESSO) technology with all forms
of strong authentication and all major identity provisioning systems.
The growth in v-GO adoption also demonstrates the platform's
effectiveness in reducing the security gaps, administrative overhead,
user frustration and help desk costs associated with the use of
    multiple application passwords.

Major new v-GO adoptions in 2006 included HSBC, one of the world's
largest banking and financial services organizations, and Kaiser
Permanente, America's leading integrated healthcare organization.
These two deployments along with a long-standing v-GO implementation
at the U.S. Postal Service represent some of the largest ESSO
    deployments in the world.

Other contributors to v-GO's 2006 growth included the ongoing rise
in sales of the v-GO powered Tivoli Access Manager for Enterprise
Single Sign-on product for mainframe, client/server and Web
applications, created through an established OEM relationship with
IBM; an agreement with Oracle resulting in the release of Oracle(R)
Enterprise Single Sign-On Suite for mainframe, client/server and Web
applications; ongoing expansion of Passlogix's reseller base around
the world; and release of the new v-GO Credential Manager enabling
network administrators to control the issuance, management and
revocation of strong authentication devices such as smart cards and
    tokens from multiple vendors.

"The proliferation of applications and Web-based services has
triggered a corresponding proliferation in passwords, with a majority
of users having six and a third more than 15 of them. Our v-GO suite
reduces the administrative burden, the security risks and all the
other pain points connected with the password explosion, including the
challenge of complying with government regulations on data access and
privacy," said Marc Boroditsky, CEO and president of Passlogix. "These
factors will continue to fuel our growth."

The v-GO platform is built around v-GO SSO (v-GO Single
Sign-On(R)), which automatically and securely signs the user into
enterprise applications after a single network logon without requiring
additional identification and authentication processes. Five add-on
products extend v-GO's single sign-on capabilities to any form of
strong authentication and to kiosk environments; enable all identity
provisioning systems to automatically inject user credentials into
    v-GO SSO; enable self-service reset of forgotten Windows passwords;
and simplify deployment of strong authentication devices.

"Enterprise customers continue to struggle with legacy systems as
they upgrade identity assurance and impose stricter identity-based
access control and audit requirements," said Phil Schacter, at Burton
Group. "Enterprise SSO products are well positioned to provide a new
control point for enforcing and auditing application level access
policies, while reducing the number of logins and enabling the gradual
transition to stronger forms of authentication."
