KKR Private Equity Investors to Present at the Citigroup Financial Services Conference on January, 31, 2007

KKR Private Equity Investors, L.P. (Euronext Amsterdam: KPE), a
Guernsey limited partnership that invests its assets primarily in
private equity investments sponsored by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.
L.P. ("KKR"), announced today that it will participate in the 2007
Citigroup Financial Services Conference. The Conference is being held
at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York.

KPE's presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, January 31, 2007,
at 3:45 p.m. EST.

A live webcast of the presentation will be available via the
Investor Relations section of KPE's website at www.kkrpei.com, where
it will be archived for 30 days.
