ESI International Announces Availability of Business Analyst Professional Development Programme in United Kingdom

ESI International, the leading provider of business analysis and
project management training, today announced availability of its
Business Analyst Professional Development Programme throughout the
United Kingdom to complement its Project Management Professional
Development Programme. The six-course curriculum offers professionals
the tools and techniques they need to build a better foundation for
    projects from the very beginning.

Projects are the lifeblood of any organisation and are executed
based on a set of accurate business requirements. A business analyst
gathers requirements from a business area and presents it in ways that
are understandable -- and actionable -- by the IT organisation.

ESI's new business analysis programme focuses on the analysis and
documentation of project requirements. Business analysts, although not
always known by this title, have a distinct role -- to uncover
business, user and functional requirements, and ESI's Business Analyst
Professional Development Programme addresses these unique needs. This
new programme provides training of a proven, structured approach to
better define a project's requirements and control scope to meet
stakeholders' needs and manage these requirements throughout the life
    cycle of the project.

Alan Garvey, Managing Director of ESI International, EMEA, said:
"Business analysis is an important first step in any project plan. All
project managers, systems analysts and IT directors, whether
developing software solutions or working on mergers, require a clear
grasp of this important, initial phase of a project. This curriculum
builds on the importance of developing competencies and skills that
are tied to specific job roles.

"With the availability of this curriculum in the UK, ESI now
offers the knowledge, techniques and best practices needed to
successfully develop and document a requirements plan that will ensure
the success of their projects, regardless of industry or project type.
Analysts, IT managers, project managers and anyone who plays a role in
ensuring project end results will benefit from this new training
    programme."

The Business Analyst Training Programme was designed to help
business analysts, or managers performing the functions of a business
analyst, define the requirements and scope of a project to meet
customer needs, document all requirements clearly and ensure
requirements are met throughout the systems development life cycle.
These invaluable skills will help to shorten life cycles thereby
lowering project budgets and decreasing time-to-market.

In addition, ESI has been designated as a Charter Endorsed
Education Provider by the International Institute of Business Analysis
(IIBA), meaning that ESI's six-course curriculum in the United Kingdom
meets IIBA's education standards for business analysis professionals.
ESI is among the first organisations worldwide to achieve the
designation under IIBA's Endorsed Education Provider programme for its
business analysis curriculum. To maintain its designation, ESI must
follow strict educational guidelines and is subject to random audits
    for quality assurance and compliance.
