International Technology Companies Add Major Global Focus to 2007 International CES
More than 1,150 technology companies from around the world will
join more than 1,500 U.S. companies in showcasing their latest
consumer electronics products at the 2007 International CES, the
world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, January 8-11 in Las
Vegas, Nevada. These exhibiting companies represent more than 30
consumer technology categories, including accessories, broadband,
digital imaging, electronic gaming, high-performance audio, home
theater, mobile electronics, robotics, VoIP and wireless
communications.
The 2007 International CES promises to be the largest and most
successful in the show's 40-year history, with 2,700 exhibitors
debuting the latest innovations in consumer technology to an expected
140,000 industry buyers, distributors, engineers, installers,
financial analysts, top-level executives, media and industry
professionals.
"We have high expectations for the upcoming 2007 International CES
and the opportunities it creates for our new products," said Robert
Young, vice president, sales and marketing, for Montreal (Quebec),
Canada based, Algolith. "With our flagship Dragonfly, and new Mosquito
HDMI and Flea HDMI digital video enhancers, we'll be showcasing the
most effective products videophiles can use to improve their systems'
picture quality."
CES continues to educate attendees on the latest developments and
trends in the consumer electronics industry. The 2007 International
CES will house 280 conference sessions featuring more than 860 of the
industry's leading speakers helping attendees discover the newest
trends, strategies and profit opportunities in the consumer technology
industry. Conference tracks begin Saturday, January 6, 2007 and focus
on key industry segments such as digital imaging, emerging
electronics, gaming, mobile electronics, and high-performance audio
and home theater.
"We can't wait to participate in the 2007 International CES. At
the show, we will be exhibiting HDMI Splitters and HDMI Switches that
are popular in the consumer electronics market," said Carinna Yeh,
marketing manager of Ever Connect Technology based in Taipei, Taiwan.
"Not only does the show provide us a very good opportunity to meet
with our existing partners, but also to exhibit our brand new HDMI
interfaced products to all our prospective business partners."
The 2007 International CES will host more than 20 market-specific
TechZones. Half of these TechZones will be housed at Innovations Plus
at the Sands/Venetian which is also home to the award-winning
Innovations Showcase. These TechZones will highlight the latest
innovations, technologies and trends in consumer electronics including
Blu-ray, Bluetooth, IPTV, consumer VoIP, connected home entertainment
and gaming.
"The 2007 International CES is a great business opportunity to
promote our newest product innovations and to meet, interact and form
relationships with current and potential clients," said Meir Mordechai
founder and president of Morel in Israel. "This year we will unveil
our newest technological innovation in home and car audio."
The Sands Expo and Convention Center also includes the
Anytime-Anywhere TechArena, which showcases companies that make the
dream of having electronics ubiquitously available a reality.
TechZones featured within this area include: The Download,
ExpressCard, Podcasting and IPTV.
"This year's CES will be the first time we showcase our products
at the show along with our daughter company, HR US. Many of our
international customers will be visiting CES, to take advantage of the
fastening systems we are offering to manufacturers of mobile phones
and navigation sets," said Harald Richter of Pforzheim, German-based
Herbert Richter Metallwaren. "CES is of major interest to us and to US
HR, an import and sales subsidiary, selling wireless programs, due to
the large number of CE retailer buyers on the show floor."
"We participate in consumer electronics and telecom shows all over
the world, and none of them reaches the quality, the excitement or the
prestige that the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas has to
offer," said Radomir Jovanovic, president and CEO of SPiDCOM
Technologies, in Bourg La Reine, France. "This year, we will exhibit
our mass produced SPC200-e chip for 224 Mbps communications over the
powerlines and the coaxial cables, as well as several partner products
based on it. We will also unveil our market perspectives for our
coming HomePlug AV compliant chip, which has received tremendous
response from service providers and consumer electronics
manufacturers. This chip ideally completes our high-speed powerline
communication product range."
