Moody's Corporation Names Lisa Simone Westlake Vice President - Investor Relations



    Moody's Corporation (NYSE:MCO) announced today that Lisa Simone
    Westlake has been named the new head of Investor Relations. Ms.
    Westlake will oversee Moody's investor relations activities globally
    as well as monitor execution of the company's critical strategic
    priorities.

    Ms. Westlake joined Moody's in September 2004 as Managing Director
    - Finance responsible for leading Treasury, Tax and Business Planning
    for the firm. "Lisa's success at implementing Moody's financial
    strategy, coupled with her knowledge of the Moody's businesses,
    position her well to excel in her new role communicating to current
    and prospective shareholders," said Linda S. Huber, Moody's Chief
    Financial Officer.

    Prior to joining Moody's, Ms. Westlake held several finance
    leadership roles at American Express Company and The Dun & Bradstreet
    Corporation. She began her career as an analyst at Lehman Brothers.
    Ms. Westlake holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia
    University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in
    Biochemistry from Dartmouth College.
