Mutual of Omaha Selects FINEOS

FINEOS Corporation, a global provider of expertly developed and
packaged componentized software solutions for the insurance industry,
today announced it has signed an agreement with Mutual of Omaha to
    implement its FINEOS Claims solution.

Mutual of Omaha has selected the solution to manage claims
operations for its group employee benefits products, including
disability, life, AD&D, and waiver of premium. This implementation
will allow Mutual of Omaha to position claims processes for their
    growing lines of business.

As a result of their rapidly growing business lines, Mutual of
Omaha investigated ways to handle the expected increase in claims
volume without sacrificing the exceptional levels of service that
Mutual of Omaha customers had come to expect. After conducting a
review of both external solutions and internal development, FINEOS
Claims, part of the larger FINEOS Insurance suite, was selected for
    implementation.

FINEOS Claims presents information to claims managers and
administrators in a comprehensive, easy-to-navigate system,
eliminating the need to manage multiple applications or memorize
complex sets of codes. The solution is built to deliver rules-driven
business process management (BPM) capabilities, which will allow
Mutual of Omaha's business users the flexibility to make changes or
modify processes as their workflows evolve and are optimized.

FINEOS Claims will also help Mutual of Omaha position itself for
future growth. The solution is built on FINEOS' innovative product
platform, which is built utilizing a Service Oriented Architecture
(SOA). The open design of FINEOS Claims allows for the rapid
introduction of new products and services and will enable the
organization to consolidate multiple lines of business onto a single
    platform.

"We are very pleased to add a reputable name like Mutual of Omaha
to our expanding list of premier clients," says Michael Kelly, CEO,
FINEOS Corporation. "FINEOS Claims will help Mutual of Omaha position
for future growth while enhancing customer service. This agreement is
another example of how FINEOS clients are using our innovative
solutions to achieve operational excellence and enable cost-effective
    revenue growth."
