Anritsu to Exhibit at ITU TELECOM WORLD 2006

Anritsu Corporation (TOKYO:6754) announces today it will
participate in the ITU TELECOM WORLD 2006, which will be held in Hong
Kong from December 4 to 8. Anritsu will exhibit its most-advanced
technologies at its booth No. 8001.007 in the Japan Pavilion in Halls
6 & 8. Under the theme of "For Next Generation Networks," Anritsu will
introduce its latest solutions in five sectors: "Wireless
Communications," "High-Speed Networking," "Handheld Products,"
"Service Assurance" and "Terrestrial Digital Broadcasting."

A feature of the "Wireless Communications" section is TD-SCDMA
(Time Division Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access) test
solutions. From RF performance evaluation of transmitters and
receivers to testing of terminal protocols and applications, Anritsu
provides test solutions indispensable to the development of TD-SCDMA
technologies.

The MD8470A Signalling Tester is a TD-SCDMA base station simulator
that provides a simulation environment that is highly effective in the
development and verification of TD-SCDMA mobile phone terminals. By
simulating communication parameters that would be difficult to achieve
in an actual base station, the Signalling Tester makes it possible to
perform connect tests for voice calling, data communication and SMS
under a variety of conditions.

The MG3700A is a Vector Signal Generator whose primary feature is
a high-speed arbitrary waveform baseband generator and broadband
vector modulation bandwidth. The Vector Signal Generator uses
high-capacity arbitrary waveform memory to generate the waveforms
needed to measure the main reception performance parameters in
accordance with the 3GPP TS34.122 standard.

The MS8609A is equipped with a Spectrum Analyzer, modulation
analysis, and a power meter to provide the optimum measuring solution
for the evaluation of third-generation mobile telecommunications
equipment. TD-SCDMA measurement software can be installed to measure
primary TS34.122 standard-compliant transmission characteristics. The
GUI display is ideal for troubleshooting during development.
