Russia's Putin says his daughters stay out of business, politics


    MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday his two daughters lived in Russia and stayed clear of business and politics, but declined to say where they worked.

    "They live in Russia ... They have never been educated anywhere except Russia," Putin told his annual news conference. "I am proud of them. They continue studying and they work."

    Putin, who has long batted away questions about his private and family life, said his two daughters, Maria and Katerina, spoke three European languages. He declined to give further details, citing "security reasons."
