Apple's quarterly revenue surges, tops estimates



    SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Apple Inc reported better-than-expected revenue in its fiscal first quarter, fueled by strong holiday demand for iPhones and iPads.

    APPLE (AAPL.NQ)said on Tuesday its revenue rose 71 percent to $26.7 billion, better than the average analyst estimate of $24.4 billion, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
