Dell revenue lower than Street view


    SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Dell Inc reported revenue that was lower than Wall Street expectations.

    The world's No. 3 maker of personal computers said revenue in its fiscal first quarter was $14.4 billion, lower than the average analyst estimate of $14.9 billion according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

    DELL (DELL.NQ)shares fell almost 8 percent to $13.90 immediately after the numbers, from a close of $15.08 on the Nasdaq.
