Wall Street opens up

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks opened up on Monday, helped by gains in energy shares as oil prices rose.

Weighing on the Dow, Hewlett-Packard Co shares dropped 6 percent to $43.50. The company said on Friday CEO Mark Hurd quit after an investigation found he had falsified expense reports to conceal a "close personal relationship" with a female contractor.
