Stocks turn lower, Nasdaq off 1 percent



    NEW YORK (Reuters) - The S&P 500 and Dow turned lower while the Nasdaq fell more than 1 percent in late trading

    on Monday, with pharmaceutical and retail shares among the biggest drags on the Dow.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was down 25.99 points, or 0.25 percent, at 10,424.65. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 6.36 points, or 0.57 percent, at 1,111.15. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 23.57 points, or 1.02 percent, at 2,286.23.
