Mitsubishi Heavy considers U.S. wind turbine plant


    TOKYO (Reuters) - Mitsubishi Heavy Industries said it was considering building a wind turbine factory in the United States to cut the cost of shipping parts from Japan.

    The Nikkei business daily reported earlier on Monday that the Japanese company would build the plant in Arkansas as part of its efforts to avoid trade friction amid an ongoing patent dispute with General Electric Co .
